STRUGGLES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY

Recently, a story was making rounds on the social media about the state of campus students in most universities across the country. This was after a picture was leaked of some comrades whose identities were kept hidden for anonymity reasons were caught making a meal of a rat in one of their hostels. 

A research carried out by our team proved that a significant number of comrades have a lot issues going on within the campus including; engaging in recent and widespred social media employment, struggle with gambling addictions, battling depression, balancing emerging trends, faking lifestyle to impress their peers, western influence,rapid rise of  LGBTQIA community, Deteriorating mental health, Alcohol and substance, Drug-Induced psychosis, poor emotional wellbeing,  high student loan debts among many other factors.

To add on, Lecturers on the other hand make life difficult especially for the girl child who unwillingly may have to subdue herself to the lecturers ( male) sexual motives for her to acquire good grades in the various courses they persue in myriad Higher institutions Of Learning spread across the Nation.

Furthermore,The male students go to an extent of bribing these same lecturers with money to obtain the necessary marks for  graduation. This matter has affected a significant number of students in campus resulting to poor mental health and severe depression.

 Impromptu intervention is needed urgently by the Government, parents,guardians,youth leaders,activists, Church leaders, social media influencers, and other relevant Individuals in the society to salvage these young souls from these unprecedented misery.
