TRUMP'S ADMINISTRATION CUTS BILLIONS OF DOLLAR FUNDING IN MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS
World Health Organization has been trending lately following recent United States withdrawal from the Reowned Health organization.
This was catapulted after the Inauguration of President Donald J Trump to the highly coveted Commander In Chief Position. This was Trump’s Second non-consecutive term serving as US President after serving as The 45TH POTUS in the 2016 US election after his narrow decisive win beating her then opponent Hillary Clinton.
The Trump administration withdrawal from WHO was aimed at reducing costs and Government expenditure.Trump explained that The US is the large contributor of funds in the organization claiming going forward its administration is cutting billions of dollars in medical research funding for Higher institutions of Learning, hospitals and other Scientific and research institutions by reducing the amount in associated costs to support such research.
The move by President Trump received heavy support from his staunch supporters who hailed the move seeing it as fulfillment of Trump's agenda of creating Department of Government Efficiency(DOGE) to slash Government expenditure and reduce costs which never existed before in United States history.
Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk was tasked the mantle by his 'best friend' Trump to spearhead the Department of Government Efficiency. The Reowned Billionaire welcomed the news tweeting that it was an 'amazing job' done by the National Institute of Health.
However the recent move has received heavy criticism globally with most leaders and especially Democras in the Us claiming that the withdrawal of funding will cripple medical research in various medical research centers around the globe.
